Word Form the Pastorate
We welcome you to the 2015 camp meeting. It has been a year since the last camp meeting and God has been gracious to us. The Lord commanded Moses saying, “Say to the Israelites: On the fifteenth day of the Seventh month the Lord’s feast of the Tabernacle begins and it will last for seven days. For seven days present offerings made to the Lord by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and present an offering made to the lord by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work”. Leviticus 23:34, 36. This event is an opportunity that God has granted upon us by His grace. It is a privilege for us to consecrate all our lives to Him during this Holy convocation that we may know Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Let us lay everything aside and come to be blessed.
E.G. White states; “It would be far better for you to let your business suffer than to neglect the opportunity of hearing a message God has for you. Make no excuse that will keep you from gaining every spiritual advantage possible. You need every ray of light. You need to be qualified to give a reason of hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” 6T 38,39. This is a critical moment for us to examine our hearts before God and confess all unpleasant feelings and repent the sins of strife and discard to God. The camp meeting is also the moment of joy. We praise Him for His mercies, goodness, kindness and many blessings He has bestowed upon our families. Let us come and worship Him for He is our God.
The Pastorate, church elders, church officers and members of the SDA Church, Nairobi Central, send you warm greetings and a brotherly welcome to our Camp Meeting.
