Camp Meeting 2023

God said, “Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, ……  And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, ….  Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.….; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:  Every man [shall give] as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.”  Deuteronomy 16:13-17

Attend for Spiritual Revival

God calls upon you to take your place among the rank and file of His people. Do this even if it involves time, travel, high cost.  Be present with your families and put forth extra exertion to attend the gathering of God’s people.

Let all who possibly can, attend these yearly gatherings. All should feel that God requires this of them. {2T.575}

Let the army of the Lord be on the ground. Do not plead an excuse. The Lord has need of you. He does not do His work without the co-operation of the human agent. Go to the camp meeting, even though you have to make a sacrifice to do so.

Better for you to let your business suffer than to neglect the opportunity of hearing the message God has for you.

Show thy Gratitude

Anciently the Lord instructed His people to assemble three times a year for His worship. To these holy convocations the children of Israel came, bringing to the house of God their tithes, their sin offerings, and their offerings of gratitude. {6T 39.3}

Camp meetings are important; they cost something.

Jesus will deepen and widen your blessings. You must make efforts if you have salvation at last. Leave your home cares, and come to find Jesus, and He will be found of you. Come with your offerings as God has blessed you. Show your gratitude to your Creator, the Giver of all your benefits, by a freewill offering. Let none who are able to give come empty-handed. {2T 601.2}

The object of a camp meeting is to lead all to separate from business cares and burdens, and devote a few days exclusively to seeking the Lord. {2T 601.3}
